Default anyone have a thread for guages in the dash on the trans am??

Looking to install guages in the ac ducts of my 95 trans am. Was wondering if anyone has some info on this.....

I think it looks good. Probably go white faced guages that light up red?

It's easy. Pop out the vents, drill plastic to run wires. Place in gauges.

Nothing too complicated about it.

You will want 2 5/8" gauges to fill the holes completely.

Here are mine:

they look so good too bad you have to get rid of your vents. I will NOT give up my AC.

You can use the fernco coupler from home depot and fit 2 1/16 gauges also as another option.

I would try running a bead of silicone around the gauges to to snug them up.

Anyone here ever install just one or two gauges instead of all three? A/C is kind of important here.

Unless your AC sucks and isn't blowing as cold as it should, you still have two dash vents(Passenger/Driver), and the feet vents, Its enough for me. My car gets Ice cold during the summer. And the cold Air that cant go out the vents gets redirected out the open ones. So they blow a little harder.

I only have my trans temp gauge in my vent, the other two are on the cowl under the hood.

I'll get a pic Monday of it

My A/C blows 45*. When the car has been sitting in the sun and its 118* out here I need all the help I can get.

I 'll be putting my gauges in the radio area ,but I still plan to have a functional aux input for the music and keep my AC vents.

I 'll be getting rid of the headunit and running the speakers of a 4ch amp and audio source will be my phone.

The 4ch amp will sit where the stock monsoon amp usually is.

Just a lil' something I wanted to share for the ones that want to keep ac vents but want gauges.

ninjai_ruken, that looks PERFECT. Please tell me where you got those gauges from, those are the first I've seen that match the stock colors and it's exactly what I need. Please pm or something
