Default NEW PRODUCT: Dash pod for gauges...

What we did is take the ones made for a Mustang (design kind of matched our dash and factory gauge cluster opening)...

...made a mold of it, made a clay plug from the mold, put it on our dash and made to fit (we ended up adding quite a bit of material to the bottom IF YOU TRY TO USE A MUSTANG POD IT WILL NOT BE FLUSH AGAINST THE DASH AT ALL, LOOK IN THE PIC AND YOU'LL SEE THE GAP), made a mold of the clay piece, popped a solid out of it and thermal formed this finished product out of textured ABS (to match the dash)...

Here's the first mock up when we realized we still needed to add even more material...

...and we'll also offer with a lip for those who just want to 3M doubleside it on instead of screwing it on...

You can order here (better pics coming)...

I could have it wraped in CF for you or you could send it to Emblem Pros to be hydrodipped...

I remember when people thought I was crazy for drilling two little 3/16 holes in my dash, looks like the trend is catching on now.

Yep, that's what it says. I get it now, you were being critical of the price ... Good price imo for a product nobody else makes for our cars, like most (if not all) the stuff that 6LE makes ... Keep up the good work Mark & Team!

Mark, did you see the pictures of mine or something? Mines the only one I've ever seen. Honestly though, I think the Mustang one would the way to go, but maybe yall could trim them a little to fit better and make a bracket for it like mine. The double sided tape would be a good way to go, but you'll still need to drill a whole for the wires, so it kinda doesn't matter. The way mine is, its just one hole for the bracket and the wires. Its kinda a bitch to remove, but thats not really a big deal.

If you dont want to drill you could just run the wires through the vent thingy there in the middle of the dash

Yeah, the lip one is extended for 3M tape AND so that it will cover the wires if you let them poke out of the seam of the dash in front of the vents. Long story short, no holes at all...

SVThis... Really? Why don't you go design a product, make a mold and sell it to a niche market and see what your prices are and how long it takes you to even come close to just getting your money back... Also, $75 includes paypal fees and shipping.

Squee, I honestly don't think I did see yours. I thought I saw it on a Trans-Am once though... I didn't think the Mustang piece could be trimmed properly that's why we decided to add material instead of cut stuff away.

Heres the only picture of mine I could find. The flash makes it look like its lighter, but its actually a pretty close match to the factory dash.

I thought about a similar one but mounted on the gauge trim. Like one on each side. Mounting to the plastic and hiding wires under would be easy. Besides these parts are a dime a dozen and better than a hole in the dash.
