Default Cleaning up wires in the engine bay

Ive already done the passenger side, that was easy but now Im looking at the driver side. Does this harness disconnect at the firewall??

God I hope so. What a huge pain in the *** it would be to cut and resolder all of those...

My 1989 Silverado had a connector like that. It had a bolt holding it on and all the wiring connectors were inches away from it on the inside of the cab. If you don't have a definite answer by tomorrow I'll check the extra F-Body harness I have sitting at the shop and I'll let you know.

that does not disconnect fyi... there is like 5 connections under the dash then you can remove it, very shitty design from GM that piece thats on the firewall the wires are basically glued together, you will most likely have to remove the brake booster also i had to

i'm always impressed with you guys that just cut this and solder later, you must have some trick for soldering that is quick though, because that is a few hours of work to put all that back together!
