Default Removing "honeycomb" from trans am tail lights?

I was just wondering if anybody had every attempted to remove the black honeycomb from the trans am tail lights?

I just want something different and I think it would look pretty good.... I don't like all of the black on the tail lights...

if its possible it would mean that we could (theoretically) get 'custom' tail lights.

imagine if BLS or somebody decided to make cool looking 'bird tail lights that WERENT just honeycombs or legos. look at all the people doing headlight conversions/hid tails/etc.

buncha poo flingin haters.

That's 93-97 firebird tail lights. 98-02 firebird, formula and TransAm lights are all the same. (But I'm sure all of you guys know that.)

Sidenote: Why does that formula have base firebird tail-lights and not LT1-Forumla/Trans-Am tail-lights?

They are two piece for the LT1s
he could have taken them out or replaced the whole things.

Two piece tails on LT1's? AFAIK, my LT1 TA has one piece tails, unless you mean the reflector strip on the bottom of the light is what makes it two-piece.
