i can already see this is gonna be a reeally long thread. i'm gonna just copy a post i just put in another thread a few days ago, to give you some various ideas since it seems thats what you're looking for. this is a general list of appearance mods you'll come across for the most part

this was with trans am's in mind, most translate over to camaro's, with the exception of things like stripes/ceta mod, which is pretty much the equivalent of the berger...

- www.Emblempros.com (emblems/badges/engine bay)
- www.Redlinegoods.com (interior)
- www.OEWheelsLLC.com (corvette replica rims)
- www.fourthcircledesigns.com (stripes/decals)
- www.camarographics.com aka www.3rdgendecals.com (stripes/decals)
- www.autografics.com (stripes/decals)

some typical/simple mods (exterior):

-painted calipers
-remove molding on doors/fenders
-debadge "trasn am"/"Z28" on doors, or get overlays for them
-overlays for front license bird, fill-ins for rear "pontiac" letters / or fill-ins for front/rear camaro letters
-lowering springs
-rims
-blackbird stripes, or ram-air stripes
-ceta mod (do a search if you dont what it is)
-fixed shorty antenna, if your motor one has issues
-tint
-depending on the color of your car, swap front turn signals from amber to red ones (from camaro)
-nice exhaust tips, corsa clones are very popular for t/a's
-my one personal suggestion i feel all t/a's should do: tinted reverse lights. get rid of the out of place bug eyes!

interior:
- floor mats
- nice shifter ****
- leather shifter/e-brake boot, armrest cover (www.redlinegoods.com)
- new seats
- new seat covers (www.hawksthirdgenparts.org)
- https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...firebirds.html

just some basics to think about. i won't get into specifics, thats for you to decide. but these suggestions should help you out a bit. like mentioned above, cardomain is an excellent place to look around and see what others have done, and figure out what you like/dislike. Just for the hell of it, I'd suggest browsing through all of those sites inventories to see what they have to offer, especially since many similar things are sold at multiple places, sometimes with slight or no differences, but prices will vary, so it's good to compare

okay, i'm done for the night. have fun with your car

Its not anywhere near done yet , but this is the best interior thing Ive done to my Camaro . Changed the design of the center console .

On my Trans Am , it was getting rid of the puny rim OEM steering wheel for a OEM 01-03 Grand Prix wheel that had a really fat rim ....and at the time ( circa 2002 ) fabbing in a double din OEM Vibe in dash 6cd player .

Here's some what I've done to spruce up my interior:
  • Silver cloth door panel inserts
  • Silver cloth arm rest cover
  • Silver painted vent rings
  • Leather Auto Shift Boot
  • Custom Double-DIN AVIC-D3 install

Check out these threads to see what others have done to their interiors:

It isnt . I didnt wanna have any unexpected random problems from a re-wired airbag . Unlike the f-car bags, the inflator on the GP bag was able to be unbolted and removed so it could never inflate . I just wanted something that was custom and looked oem.

best interior mod for me was the steering wheel. makes a shitload of a difference in the grip/feel of the steering (best way i can describe it). the stock wheel felt like it belonged on a bus. exterior mod.. HID projectors so i can actually see what i'm hauling *** into at night.

these have more of a functional value to me, but also change the appearance a bit. for looks, i'd like to go with some nice rims, but i haven't found a set that take off enough weight, look great and have a reasonable cost.

Got mine from AAT Cars. http://www.aatcars.com/engine_covers.html

If your engine has the dual duel lines, scroll to the bottom of their web page and you'll find the FRC you need.
