how do i remove airbag
Does anyone know how to remove the airbag from the drivers side?I want to take mine out if it's not to difficult.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

To remove it - there are 2 torx screws/bolts located in the rear of the steering wheel. Just remove them and the bag will come right out. Be sure to disconnect the battery and pull the air bag fuse first though or you'll get a BANG!

Thanks so much for the info...especially the part about removing the fuse.
Does it take a certain type of wrench for those bolts?
Will i create any problems by disconnecting the battery?

Is it fairly easy for the average guy to remove the airbag.You said there are many things that need to be removed first.I don't want to get in over my head.
