ok so i just looked this up and the consensus is a blow dryer and dental floss or fishing line to pull it up..

Never seen one do this. I need to get another one for my car though as mine has started to fade a little bit.

I swapped mine for the emblem pro nose emblem. You should be fine with the heat gun and fishing line. Don't forget the adhesive remover like goo gone if once you remove the entier emblem. Some rubbing compound might work as well to get that off your paint.

Your car needs a shot of penicillin in the rear. That should clear it up.

Seriously, a hair dryer should loosen it up. Some people recommend dental floss but a dryer always worked for me when removing decals, moldings and emblems. I use 3M adhesive remover to clean up the residue, but I hear Goo Gone is cheaper and works as well.

^ Goo Gone has always worked for me. Thats what I used to get the sticky stuff off my fiancee's car when I took the side molding off hers.

Mine old one did the same thing. Goo Gone and elbow grease worked. Then a new emblem from Emblem Pros. ....then some a-hole stole the car.
