High Polish Metal?
High Polish Metal? I have a question for you polishing the tips kind of guys out there.
I have Polished CME Tip(s) and I had to use a dremel on the edges. The wheel got away from me a few times and has dremeled "swirl" marks. I was wondering how you guys go about polishing (high shine) metal. I would like to polish out the blemishes but I am unsure how to go about it.
Tell your secrets. Put a step by step on how to polish metal. Maybe this can become a sticky if we get a GOOD write-up?!

What is the tip aluminum,stainless steel?yeah its kind of hard polishing large areas with a lil wheel on a dremel,what kind of polish do you use? here is one of my pro stars I did these things were in such bad shape, if you can it is best to work with a polishing wheel,or a good high speed buffer,I would try rubbing the polish in by hand and buffing off by hand and see if that gets them out,if it doesn't pm me and I will give ya some info,the pro stars took a lot of work but came out great

I have a buffer and I have a dremel. I have gotten wheels back to AWESOME shape with mothers Mag Aluminum polish. But that wont do on this. I am not looking for just making something shine, I am also looking at taking out the wheel marks from the dremel getting away from me at times.

Verdad Gallardo Go to autozone they have this stuff called white diamond,its a really good metal polish but I have noticed on some metals it leaves lil fine surface marks but on stainless it should be fine ,whenever I used that stuff I had great results but sometimes had to go buff out the lil marks after using it,also are the wheel marks nicks or scratches or just swirl marks? If its just swirl marks polish will rub those out,just rub it on with some pressure,did you use a metal polish to buff out the tip?depends on how bad it is but even (I think its called blue magic) would more than likely work for ya,
They are scratches. Not really dug in but enough where they are scratches. Otherwise unwound have used the outbid the bag polish creams. Inhale mothers msg aluminum polish but these are scratches.
