New idea for EmblemPros ....
Also, you should remember that laws vary from state to state. For example, and as stated earlier, up north they have automated ticketing systems. In the south, it's unheard of. That's why down here there are no laws, or none that are common knowledge to both cops and us, pertaining to covering VIN plates.
If you could get off your high horse, please understand that cops are not some piece of idol worship that people fawn over, it's just another position in the government machine. It's your job, you don't need to take it home with you and advertise the fact. You are not special.
And don't misunderstand me, if you say that I'm a cop hater. I am on good terms with a lot of local and state police. Hell, they even do favors for my family sometimes.
Point is, this is a good, very productive thread, so don't come in here posting more **** like you have been.
I totally agree please stop ruining this thread ! Well said Johnny

Okay seriously WTF gives ?!?! I was told NO GM Logos . Direct quote....
"We are trying to not place any GM names on these.
they are not licensed pieces, and I do not think they
want their official names on something that covers the vin."
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
GM does not own "Trans Am"
FACT. GM does own Camaro, Firebird, Corvette, etc. But, Trans Am is a borrowed name.
Have a look:

[U]We are not going to do what we are not allowed to do. We do know what we are doing. It gets a little old when we keep getting asked to do something we can't do, or people get upset because we can't do something. We run a real business here.
You guys just have to recognize, when we have to say no, there is a reason for it.
If i get 100 emails about this, it will not change the answer. All of you guys know what a GM logo is. If you are not sure I will be glad to tell you. But they are absolutely not going on this piece. Almost anything else you want should be fine.I regularly turn down 10 or more orders a week, for this very reason. Getting asked for things not allowed. People often get very upset when we have to tell them no, but it is what it is.
If you had to run a business and follow trademark rules, I am sure you would also agree with us.
We took the time to measure dimensions, and clearances for this piece. Made a non skid backer for it. It can come in about 50 color combinations etc.....
It was a good idea, it is a nice little piece. We have made it available at a very good price. So, if you like it let me know. No logos please.
Thanks, Roger

Common sense, buy the blank plate take it to someone that doesn't know/care about the laws and have it engraved.
