Thanks Brian....between the two of us, we'd have one hell-uva crazy car!!!

Progress has been slow but deliberate lately...I'm celebrating the small victories. Overcame a significant milestone as now this engine is FINALLY ready to go in the hole now that everything in the back of it is complete. Been fighting the little **** recently but it had to be correct in all aspects of function and appearance.

Routed the line from the valley cover to my vacuum block (hose lying on passenger side valve cover) now clamped to my water line from my water vapor block (hose lying on driver side valve cover) that will finish at the radiator.....naturally a billet clamp

Map sensor was fun to position and make sure was "serviceable" just in case. So I came up with this. Found a clip that attached to a 3/8-ish line and bonded it to an LS1 sensor. If it were to fail for some reason, simply reach back to unclip and replace!

Oh and for the "race car" guys....the headers look pretty good

Hydraboost set-up showed up today. Really nice set-up and will no doubt resolve any potential braking issues had I found a way to keep the stock booster

Just when I think my setup is nice, I've gotta see this monster.
If only more of us had this kind of money to put into a late 90's/early 2k's. model car... We probably wouldn't be driving an fbody at all. Someone's gotta show us how it's done though. Props! I wouldn't live past the price tag of all this though.

Thanks guys...

Things are still evolving. Found the cleaniest way to correct my height issue is to have a K-member built with lower engine mounts. Current engine position is a "mock-up" that required 3/4" spacers for 1/4" clearance to the cowl. Sooooo back to the drawing board.....

Anyone need a zero mile UMI K-member....?

The joy of working with aftermarket stuff. It can evolve and get rather pricey at times.
Looking good though!!!

I have always wondered why no one came up with a shorter motor mount for tall deck applications. On my Spohn motor mounts it looks like you could chop an inch out re-weld them ya know.

I just wonder if it would cause any kind of alignment issues with the transmission or driveshaft out back?

Looking good Brent.

Good luck with the height issues.

Why not just clearance the cowl?

If you do lower your motor, your header clearance is going to drop by an inch as well.

After this weekend, leaning back that way too Trevor. Already took an inch out removing the wiper tray shown page 16.....might require another 1"

Starting to look like another hood will be required too.....

Yo B...PITA I know, but i like this option better too, I think. At least it saves your headers (do you have them yet?) and keeps your pinion angle in a safer range.
