Project OVRKILL: The BLING Phase!!!
Thanks Roberto! I see yours is shaping up nicely!
Been preoccupied recently with a few things outside this project lately but getting back to it very soon. Btw, I can finally remove those black covers in place of these billet beauties.

1). Though I'm not a fan of black (because you have to clean it so much), you car is just plain AWESOME! Forget the wipers! I honestly hope the car NEVER gets wet-other than an occasional wash, once per year or so.
2). As a guesstimate, how many man hours are invested in this car?
3). Love the details. I'm insanely jealous. Though it's not quite to the point of Jennifer Aniston naked, you're about as close as her "Vicky's Secret" undies are.
Finally, I think it's really cool you aren't doing any major body mods. Best to keep it looking "stock". Then when some punk kids pulls up next to you in his VTEC, you can shut him down in 30 feet. Absolutely SPECTACULAR!

To be honest, hatin the black too, lol. Everything else I own is white! Just somethin about those 10min of cleanliness of black is just sexy!
To answer your points in order:
1) Wipers wont be functional but will appear as they are and no...it wont see any "weather". I will have the driver side operational at some point. Nice winter project....along with the interior

2) Man hours including mine is crazy...as with the costs rolled up in this project, I stopped counting a loooooong time ago.
3) My favorite....love Ms Aniston and once this is done, Jenny will run a close second

Return line is in place due a decided location for the fuel reg. Trying to keep things clean, I modified the stock retainers to accept the -6 line. Pleased on how it came out...

Speaking of fuel reg location, it took several trial and error positions but I FINALLY put it somewhere that made sense. So simple it's embarrassing how long it took to decide where it should go...

Note the reg bracket above....I made it out of a piece of aluminum stock laying around. Cut, bend, drill, radius, powder...done.

New valve covers are in place too. Naturally, nothing plug-n-play. Prototype gaskets from Cometic - production covers come with an o-ring style gasket....gonna be screwed if I have to pull these damn things, needed to find a oil fill and air breather too....which took weeks

Brakes are finally bolted up as well....another unexpected pain in the ***. Over torqued the bango bolt....a little....lol....oooops.

Radiator should have been in place a week ago, but thanks to a clueless "tech support" team from a fastener supplier, all the hose clamps were the wrong size.
Ordered a BMR rad support too....got it and was slightly damaged in shipping. Decided to cosmetically tweak it anyway to so no biggy....should the results this week.Engine compartment fasteners should be wrapped up this week. Cant wait to post those....

Much, much more to come....
Thanks for the additional pics, I really enjoy seeing your work and the clean results of that labor. Keep 'em coming and take as long as you need.
