I just posted in gmhtp's facebook thread about your car. They asked if people want to see your car featured. As if they have to ask, your SS should be on the cover.

Nice new goodies.

I too was a bit upset seeing your car in street heat and not in a cover shot and it's own article. Definitely better than a lot of stuff that has had that honor.

Thanks guys....commented on the FB page with an engine bay pic. Funny how they used the rolling shot but didnt show what this car is really about. Thought it was a little odd. Maybe it will help "sway" their decision

Anyway....valve covers come off tonight and I start the breather can hose re-routing to accomodate the pump. At the time, I thought it was a good idea to hide the hoses behind the covers. PITA though to get them off.....

Gave you a comment on FB as well - Your car needs proper representation in GMHTP!

If this car doesn't deserve a full feature in GMHTP no car does. Big hp turbo/blower cars are a dime a dozen in that mag but this build blows everything I've seen outta the water. Your attention to detail is second to none, great work man.

Nothing in stone, but the people have spoken and its been heard

Lol, decided to take it apart this week instead of last weekend Rick because the weather was so nice. Got some miles on the new DR's and the traction was improved but not much. I would anticipate a little better when these roads warm up. Helped enough to embarrass a C5 and a GTO though

Poor guy in the vette was thinking...."4th gen? Should be a good race..." Lol....

i also posted on the fb image, only about the bajillionth time i've said this car needs to be a featured car. Boosted lsx are sweet and take work but like stated their a dime a dozen now, how many ITB naturally aspirated street legal f bodies are out there cranking the hp you do ( i forget how much off the top of my head but remember very impressive numbers)

Phase one complete....

- VC's off to the machine shop, then off to body shop.
- Pump / lines fitted and routed, just need to make connections.
- With mock-up done, disassemble, send a few pieces out for cosmetic adjustments and get this thing ready for Super Chevy.

Doesnt look terrible. Should fit the theme nicely when finished

This should be fun....vent is going to end up "married" to the oil fill cap.

Was checking radiator overflow hose clearance and snapped this....thought it was a cool pic.

I just saw on the GMHTP FB post that the feature IS happening. Not sure if this has already been discussed on here as I've been away for awhile.

Either way congrats!!! Can't wait to see it!

Lol......****, suppose I should get this bitch back together.

No worthy pics yet, but 99% of the machine work to get everything to work is done. Trip the body shop and anodizer to pick up the cosmetically improved pieces then it'll be time to reassemble and make a date with the photographer

Sneakin up on the finished product...

- Necessary machine work for everything is done.
- Cosmetic "tweaks" done (chrome, anodizing and paint).

Little bummed we could machine a deeper pocket for the insert, but I think the finished product will do just fine.

Time for assembly!

Looks great! That is the nice thing about the Katech VC's, they're recessed enough for the inserts to be flush.

And if they fit these heads, I would have driven over there and bought a set

The VC's I have are a one off set from Crane where they didn't mill in the gasket "track". Cometic built a one off set of gaskets for it too....which sucks because now I have to make a set every time the covers come off.
