Def would be cooler if it could be mounted in the dash, Hell if the top dash pads werent so high id try to cut/mold a housing on mine, for one.

Is there any way to change the color of the HUD? Like, since you have Red lighted gauges, Mark, could you make the HUD red also? Or is it stuck with the colors in the vid and pictures?

Pretty awesome. My Grand Prix GXP came with a HUD and after 2 years of driving it, I consider it almost absolutely necessary when driving a car. It's really convenient to not have to look down at the dash, plus extremely handy to know you're going exactly 40 in a 40 mph zone or 15 or 20 in a school zone.

I kinda like this idea. I'd like to see what it looks like from outside the car though. Are people going to see a reflection or aglow from your dash? You know the vette's windshield is actually domed a bit in that area (though you CAN use the vette's without the special windshield, visibility is just reduced on it a bit from what I recall.)

also a random patch of window tint may look silly from far away.
