CME valance or Dual Exhaust with Corsa Clones???
On to the next mod...why is my wallet so thin???
This...
Or this...
Now I gotta research it a little more, but was the CME exhaust a factory option or something SLP did or was it aftermarket? Not sure the history of the CME but I know its been around for awhile now. If its an original option, that would make my decision right there.

It was a factory option on the SS, later offered to the public by SLP. I'm a huge fan of the CME, but the dual with Corsa clones looks really great on that car. I personally would do the dual valance blended with the clones, but it is your car.

Ok...been looking at CME posts for about 2 hours. How did these come OEM? Were they molded or seperate pieces?? Id like the closest to OEM as possible. Same with the exhaust tips.

All 4th Gen SS models were done by SLP (someone correct me if im wrong), and they offered the CME as an option. The CME valence was a separate piece, not molded with the stock bumper.
It really depends on what you like more, the CME valence or DE Valence from 6LE. Personally, if my car didnt come with the CME. I would go with the Dual Exhaust valence, its something different and unique.

Also, the CME setup was about a $1,300 option so not a lot of people opted for it. It was also only avaliable from 2001-2002.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong

My brothers car, stock CME.
The CME valance was an SLP option that was available for 2001 and 2002 SS's
I have the valance I need to install along with my 2.5" double d tips from 6LE. Should be on this spring.

Ive got that single CME tip on my car, ive gotten nothing but compliments on it so far. Ive even noticed ppl taking looks at the tip when behind me at a redlight. I like it and wanted something different. I dont want to have the same thing everyone else has, same goes with wheels (even though i went with the OEWheels Deep Dish C5's but i got them in argent color. Not many ppl have and i think im the only one locally running these wheels).

Not *all* SS's went to SLP. Mine is an example. If you didnt order extra options like suspension, rear diff, car covers, floor mats, exhaust etc, then your car never went to SLP. Quite a few SS's just got the hood, spoiler and badges thrown on at the factory and then were thrown out on the lot. Those cars never went to SLP unless you ordered something else for it.
Also, the CME setup was about a $1,300 option so not a lot of people opted for it. It was also only avaliable from 2001-2002.
