You can find it in quarts at Walmart and I think Home Depot. You thin it with a tiny bit of Xylene/Xylol and spray it. I'm using a little cheap $40 gun I had bought at Harbor Freight.

Looking good! Rustoleum and 3M must truly appreciate you as a customer.
X2. I want to do this to my car as well one of these days. Just the other day I was test spraying a piece with black hammertone to see how it looks against Pewter.

My welding skills suck *****. I bought a little welder from harbor freight and got owned. I turned a 1/4" hole to about 3 times that . I did a couple with the welder, grinded them down and finished with a little filler. Most of the other really small holes I filled in with a two part epoxy called Qbond and finished up also with a little filler.

Hasn't been much progress. Car is sitting at my buddys house while I waited for a few other parts to come. I just picked up my circle d multi disk for the 4L80 and a new flex plate. I think I have everything now to start the reassembly other than the dipstick for the trans. Probably start putting it back together next week.

I'm sure the professional way to do it would be to weld and grind and touch up with filler. I just couldn't figure out how to weld and my buddy who could never showed up. I just used duct tape under the hole to keep the qbond from falling through. Then I used a pencil to push through the holes and create a little pocket/separation around the hole so the qbond would have enough area to grab to.
