Around where I live there is a FOrmula Firehawk in SOM...its is beautiful! one of the nicest f-bodies I have ever seen!

A guy in my car club (MFBA) has a SOM Formula FireHawk HardTop with a 6 speed. According to SLP, it is 1 of 1 made that year (2K I believe). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

My friend has a SOM WS6 Vert and it is one of the best looking cars i have ever seen.
It also has the 00 style wheels and a black top.

You guys are right - it's a 2K1 Formula FireHawk <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> The only one built by SLP that year to those specs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> The owner is a nice guy (Rudy2K1Hawk web handle on MFBA boards)

I guess SOM is pretty popular around the Chitown area. I've seen quite a few of them around here. At least 3 SOM WS6s, 1 SOM T/A, 1 SOM Firehawk, 2 SOM Formula's, and 1 SOM SS. And yes, I'm sure they were all different cars.

Actually, the 2 Formulas and one of the WS6s were all lined up at a local dealer last year. Looked pretty cool to see all three of them sitting there in that color. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

SOM is one of my top favorite colors on F-bodies. After bright red, it's a tie between that BSM, and NBM. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
