Default Custom Flames

I have been tossing the idea around in my head of some flames down my car. There is a guy at a local body shop that will do them for me at a very reasonable cost, because a friend of mine also happens to work with him. I would like to get them done in the blue/green chromeillusion color. i want to get them comming up the hood, and also comming back from the SS scoop, i would also like to get them down the doors and small ones on the rear spoiler. They would be kind of like ghost flames in the aspect it would be basically only the outline of the flame. I think that if done right this would look awesome. I was just wanting opinions of you guys. Suggestions are more than welcome, the blue/green chromillusion was just an idea, what do you guys think would go best with my color. Here is my car.

Nice car. Before I did paint work, I would get some clear corners-they make the front end look a LOT better. The flame idea is good, and the blue/green thing sounds cool and very unique. I say go for it.

I think you have a very good clean look going on right now with the GFX and everything. I agree on the clear front corners too, they would compliment the car very nicely. I would stay away from the flame idea personally. It will completely change the looks of the car an I don't know if it would be for the better or not. Some nice rims would look good though.

Nice car. But I'd get a nice set of rims, wider too, and get some more rubber on the road. It'll set of the car nicely with the GFX. my .02

When i get some more money im going to get some different rims, i was thinking Chrome Z06's, C5's, ZR1's, or TT2's. I also really like the crager 17's that are similar to the TT2's. Im not sure what would look best. I was going to try the flame idea because i could get it done for basically the cost of paint. I think a pint of chromillusion runs about 270-300. The guy who is gona do it said he would paint a test panel for me so i would know how it would look. Once he does the panel i will post the pics and get more opinions from you guys.
