Its worth the cost and trouble of install. Best investment a garage can ever have. We might actually add another one in a couple years

Thanks for the positive responses guys

Well my pockets hurt...this week I ordered the following

Replacement wheel stud
Speed Daddy Stainless Headers
CMS Opti
Spec Throwout bearing
Summit Aluminum Power Steering Pump (-10 AN inlet, -6 AN outlet)
Summit Aluminum Pulley For PS Pump
BBK Underdrive Pulley (to use a low mount alternator & low mount PS pump)
Rack & Pinion AN adapters
Hellwig Rear Sway Bar
Black Seat Belts (replacing my tan belts )

And I think thats it, now for a couple weeks off from spending. And it doesn't sound like we are going to have to work Sundays for a couple weeks, so I'm going to have both days of the weekend to get some work done.

Ok so apparently I suck at these build threads. I forgot the camera again today, but actually got some work done. Not much but I welded up the front sway bar bracket so they don't rip apart, cut the rear spring perches off, and cut off the bump stops.

I also got my opti from chandler on saturday, tuesday my summit order is coming in, and thursday my headers are showing up. So next weekend the motor will come out and hopefully get put back in. I hope my fuel pump comes in soon, so I can get that finished up. And I have a plan for the upper 4 link bars now

We'll either extend your warranty or comp your distributor when this bad boy is up and running. Your pictures are great and we're looking for a step by step install to put into the sales copy.

Got some more parts today, The kind of parts that would put a smile on any car guys face.....Stainless Headers And they actually look really good, better than I was expecting, especially for $280 shipped. I don't have a dial caliper, but I'll take some measurements this weekend, but it looks like they are deffinately 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8 with 3" collectors. Most of the companies I talked to said that they were 1 1/2 stepped to 1 5/8 with a 2.5" collector I can't wait to yank out the old hooker ceramics and get these in their place

I also got my factory black seat belts today, one step closer to an all black interior

Anyway heres the pics, I would have loaded them before work but photobucket was being a ***** and kept saying corrupt file

I got the call I was hoping for today on the way to work (good thing I left a little early). My buddy got my gears all set up, said it took him 8 hours to get it right. Then he only charged me $150, so I gave him a tip of $30 since I know what he normally charges.

So my rear axle is in the back of the wifes Tahoe making i smell really nice (Ford limited slip additive reaks )

But tomorrow morning were testing our boats, its suppose to be almost 80* out then tomorrow afternoon its business time, I have to work every weekend the month of April after this one so I have to get something done.

So anyway the camera is in one of my boxes of parts so I don't forget it, so Sunday night I'll try to load everything up

Made some good progress this weekend Motor came out, took all of the old stuff off and installed the low mount alternator, low mount power steering pump, the throw out bearing, headers, and k member.

Next weekend I'm going to run the fuel lines, hook up the wiring, and maybe work on the 4 link.

Heres the pics...

I had to beat in the passenger side header to get the motor bolted in, but it was a small area that had to be pushed in about 1/4" I didn't get a chance to put in the steering shaft, but its going to be close. I need to move the steering column over as far as I can and see where that puts the shaft.

Heres some pics of the header fitment

And heres how they compare to the old Hooker ceramics

Thats all I have for now, stay tuned for more

Ordered some insulated line clamps for the fuel hoses and the hotwire kit. Those should be here by friday. I just hope the hotwire kit doesn't have to get too hacked up, I'm moving almost everything out from the stock location. I guess I didn't really think about it when I ordered the kit.

I have to work this Sunday so I'll only be able to work on my car on Saturday. But I'm going to try to get the fuel system all plumbed and wired as well as hooking the motor wiring back up and rerouting some of it to keep it away from the headers

Well this weekend didn't really go as planned. I installed the fuel pump, AN adapters, and the hoses but stopped after that. I want to wait until the rear axle is under the car to see where the best place to route the fuel lines will be. I didn't hook up the hotwire kit either because of the same thing. I did however find where I'm going to relocate the fuel pump harness to keep it away from the tailpipes but I need to finish removing the interior before that can happen.

Maybe I can talk my brother into running my brake lines, but again I need the rear axle in there to find the best mounting location. So this weekend was kind of a bust and I had a hard time getting motivated, hopefully next weekend will be better. I would like to get the SFCs bolted in and ready for welding when I get the car off of the lift, finish up the motor wiring, get the radiator back in and order some more parts, like exhaust (my favorite part )

Sorry no pics, I figured most people have seen what the fuel tanks look like, but was it a PITA to get the filler neck back in place, what a piece of crap
