I hate that 4th gens (like 3rd gens) dont come stock with TRUE DUAL EXHAUST. Ive moddified my floor pan to get maximum clearance for my True Dual exhaust setup since im lowered 1.75". It should be a law that V8 muscle cars should come stock with true dual exhaust. At least GM fixed this problem with the 5th gens!! LOL

Also 10 bolt rear end. they should at least put a gm 12 bolt. I would rather want a 9" but its a ford product and GM might have a hell of a time trying to get rights to install them stock. LOL.

x2. Seems that these cars were made for one thing - to go fast. Interior is cheap and can be squeaky. And window motors suck. Had to replace both of mine.

I previously had an SS, and I love my WS6 way more Although I do miss the SS sometimes.

Just wanted to add, the interior is the cheapest I've ever been in. In my SS, everything from the ugly cloths seats and upper door panels to the flimsy dash, I just hate it. It's not the ergonomics or layout of the interior, it's very simple and has everything I need and I like that, it's just the quality and fit of everything overall. All of the panels and pieces inside feel extremely weak and cheaply put together.

That's my only complaint about the car so far though, I absolutely love everything else about it otherwise.

I'm surprised to see a lot of people complain about the interiors on these cars--and yes I understand that this thread is about stuff we don't like on these cars.

I can say that considering the fact that the interiors are now approaching their second decade in terms of design and build materials, they aren't that bad. Take a look at the Mustangs of that generation (all the new edge cars) and you may appreciate the interior of our cars.

I will openly admit all the crappy flaws on these cars, and I can tell you right now that back in the day our generation was saying the same thing about the Gen I cars however, this is simply how they are and meant to be. Love it or hate it

I think the interior design , seating etc is nice , the material isnt the best , i mean how many of us have cracked dashboards ? they arent the biggest problems but they can get annoying ,I mean passenger side bump wtf GM ?

but like you said , its how its meant to be in a way

how many of these dislikes were like this since the day you got them brand new. ypipe and 10bolt for sure but everything else had to be good atleast one point in its life. for decade old cars they are still awesome

unless you have a T/A with power bolsters and lumbar the seats are a JOKE! Valvetrain noise, everyone always asks me whats wrong with it? I tell them thats what Horsepower sounds like!! LOL

Other than that I love it!! T Tops did rattle, I adjusted the latches and it Gone.
Pound for pound these cars are amazing. Just Mod what you don't like. Corbeau took care of the seat issue for me!
