Just pulled my car out of storage and took a few pics of the winter-mods. Let me know what you guys think of it!

 

What size are those wheels? 17's? I've been wanting the C5 ZO6 brakes lately. I need some bigger rotors. A: to help fill in the wheels and B: for obvious better braking.

 

18 x 8.5" fronts and 19 x 10" rears, staggered stock c6's. the front rotors are only 13" but they fill the wheels pretty good(fronts anyways). It always bothered me how small the rotors looked compared too my wheels before this!

Thanks! Haven't got a chance to test them out yet, waiting for all the salt to get washed off the road first.
HID's definitely aren't for everyone, I have mine aimed so they point towards the ground. It only lights up right in front of the car so it isn't too bright for oncoming traffic. I have smoked covers for them too I might put on if it becomes an issue, time will tell!

Will those brakes fit inside a 17" rim?

 

are the fogs 6000k or 8000k?

 

Thanks! I haven't tried them on a 17" wheel but I've heard they don't fit. The clearance is pretty tight with an 18" rim already.

Love the car. The brakes look amazing. Maybe next mod should be to lower it a bit? Get rid of that wheel gap. Unless its just a deceiving picture..

 

A c5 z06 caliper and rotor fits inside a 17". A C6 Z06, does not, however.

The difference in the two caliper is 2 piston vs 6 piston, and the C6 6 piston is much beefier.

For a 17" wheel, I think you need to go with the base C5/C6 rotors, as they are roughly .4" small in diamter than the Z51 package.
