I installed a set about two weeks ago, and couldn't get the headlights out without breaking wo little black clips off of them. (I went in from the top, fwiw) How do the headlights come out? There is a bolt that releases the unit, but then these two tabs (on each light) look like they hook down around the bracket. (Looks like the light assy needs to be slid straight upward, instead of being pulled out, but because the nosepiece is in the way, it has to come out frontward.) Not to mention I scratched the bumper while trying to reinstall the headlights.

Does any of this make any sense? Is their an easier way? Can they go in through the bottom? Mommy? TIA, Shawn

i cant remember where but there are 3 or 4 bolts to remove and then you can easily take out the headlight. most people tape up the front end around the lights before removing them so they wont get scratched. do a search on clear corner instal (here or the slp message board) one of them should have the info you are looking for.

You have to slide them either left or right to get them out. I can take mine out in like 5 minutes. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Might be easier to take the font facia off instead. A 10mm socket is all you will need to remove it. A few screws on each side, and those little black snap in connectors, and the facia will come right off.

to take out the headlights, remove the bolt that holds it in place, then pull the headlight toward the nose or center of the car on either side and it will come off.

I put my clear corners in through the bottom. All I did was take down the whole plastic piece under the car and every bolt and screw were right there. The only hard part going through the bottom is you have to play with the lights a little to get them out or in. In my own opinion I found it easier to go through the bottom.

ok here's the scoop. Take out the bolt in the center back of headlight...slide headlight towards the nose of care headlight will then come out....take out 5 push pins between headlights along where hood closes. and pull nose up and over the little lip....that gives you more playin room....now just take out the 2 or either 3 bolts holding in corner lense and slide up and over to take it out. After you do it once you will see how easy it is and never have problems again.. its the first time thats tough..
