Default quick zaino how-to. zaino results. zaino pics.

Start off by washing with dawn hand dishwashing fluid. This gets all of the old wax off.

Next use a claybar - use zaino claybar or meguires or whatever and do it right by keeping the paint lubricated with some sort of detailing spray.

Now your prep work is done. Time to wax once paint is dry and cool. DO THIS IN THE SHADE on a warm day.

Step 1: use zaino 5 and the accelerator. wax whole car. wait atleast 1hr. use 100% cotton towel to buff off.

Step 2: spray and wipe zaino 6 product on whole car (this makes the coats of wax bond better and improves shine.)

(repeat step 1 and 2 until all of the fine swirls and etc are gone and how you like them)

Step 3: use zaino 2 and the accelerator. wax whole car. wait atleast 1hr. use 100% cotton towel to buff off.

Step 4: spray and wipe zaino 6 product on whole car (this makes the coats of wax bond better and improves shine.)

(repeat step 3 and 4 until the desired "shinnyness" level is reached)

Zaino 2 has beter 3d shine looks to it than z-5 however z-5 fixes your swirls. all of this stuff works together as a system. do yourself a favor and buy the kit and read the instructions. if you dont and are lazy just stick to meguires. you cant tell a difference unless you do it right.

hope this helps someone.

by the way these are crappy cell phone pics so imagine even more shine in person.

just an extra...

How much did you pay for the entire Zaino kit?

Looks good and great write up but I have a question. I'm on my iPhone and the pic quality on these phones suck but is you exhaust running under the rear axles? If so, how's the clearance for that?

Lookin' good man. Zaino has a few kits, the most expensive one isn't necessary. All you would "need" is the one that's around $90. Although it doesn't hurt to have all their stuff

Spread the Zaino love!

i just bought a tahoe and it has some swirls and light scratches around the door handles. would this process be the right way to go for that? if it is will it take care of deeper scratches? obviously i have never done this before so if it would be better for someone who knows what they are doing i am not opposed to that.

thanks

This would help it a lot. Zaino makes a polish for darker cars with problems like what you have. It's easy if you just read the instructions. I don't think it will hurt you to try. It cost so much and is hard to find someone that does REAL professional detailing.

Do you use a porter cable at all or is it all by hand?

To remove those you will need a good polisher and some rubbing compound or Adams severe swirl and haze remover, then swirl and haze remover, then finish it with a polish, and wax
