Default Free mods :)

had some door panels made at work by sheet metal worker at my job. I then put a lil bling on them lol I also did the antenna mod that I found out how to do by a member here on tech..[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

details on the antenna mod. Mine broke and Id like to cut it down like that.

1. cut the antenna down to where you want it 2. then use vice-grips with a rag to twist off the ball on top
3. file down the end you cut and twist the ball back on with a lil super glue.

I also put LOCTITE on the end before I put it on my car so some fool wont jack it LOL

Looks good. Can you get a pic of shorty antenna, but a little farther back so we can see the whole car? I think 9 1/2inches is pretty good height for the antenna, any shorter might look corny.

I'm actually trying to purchase a 8" antenna but ppl keep telling me to do this mod, I would want too but I cant twist off the ball on top, it seems like its connected to the antenna :/ Unless I need that vice-grip or whatever?

Oh and I was also trying to find some door panels in a SS version

locking pliers with a lil elbow grease!!! so you get door panels and put a SS badge on it lol

Btw, where do I put the elbow grease? Seriously sounds like alot of work, ima just invest in the $13 8" antenna, I'm going to either way invest in a hack saw, grease and super glow anyways lol.
