Default Driving / Fog Lights

I've got a driving light lens on my car that is busted up. I've managed to save it with some epoxy and the bulb seems to be happy for now, but it looks nasty if you look closely at it. I'm wondering if anyone replaced these lights on the early 4th-gen cars with round lights or anything interesting. Was thinking about a set of round projectors, but not sure how they would look with the 4-square headlights.

Thoughts? Pics? Other options? Maybe hide them behind a billet grill painted body color? Help me brainstorm this...

Thanks!
~ Timothy

How about some pictures... And yes, you can replace them with aftermarket. If the aftermarkets draw over 35w each, you'll need to run a separate relay lighting harness so the lights get power directly from the power distribution block or the battery, rather than the factory wiring.

You can see some examples of the aftermarket choices at http://www.pilotautomotive.com/

Here is the nasty-looking light that I am talking about. Looking for pics of what other people have done so I can get some ideas. Post pics of your setup so I can see what it looks like. Thanks!

I got some fog light covers from Summit Racing. They are smoke color and just slip on. Looks ok until I can get new factory fog lights.

Just go to Autozone, or Pep Boys, or O'Reilley, or Advance, and look at what they have.

Wow! Those round headlights in place of the factory rectangle units look SICK! I wonder if those would pass a safety inspection? Still, great look for that car.

Thanks for sharing the pics!

The Hella brand ones should come with a DOT certification, so they should if they do (really depends on your local state inspection laws)... I think Susquehanna Motorsports sells them.

OK, so I found these at autozone (sorry for the crappy cell phone pics). They are round projector-style lights with a 55w halogen bulb. Can I wire these into the factory harness and use the factory switch, or will I have to wire them in separately? I think they would look good in place of the factory driving lights and should be quite a bit brighter. Thoughts?

Thanks!
