Default which hood manufacture fits best?

Looking to get a ram air style hood for my 00 trans am I just bought. Finding a OEM ws6 hood is getting harder and harder. So I am looking at getting an aftermarket. So for those of you who bought aftermarket hoods. Which one fit the best? I was looking at VFN at the WS9 outlaw hood and the repo WS6 hood. Anyone buy these? Looking for some suggestions.

Im a firm believer of vfn. i baught a stock ws6 hood from them about 2 years ago and it fits really good. when i tell people its a aftermarket hood they are really surprised because it fits so well.

vfn all the way!

I bought a WS6 hood from TruFi ber from the ws6 store, and for how well it fit and the relitively low price I think its a very good deal.

I bought mine from VFN and it fit really well. But the key is finding a quality body shop that can properly install, prep, and paint it. I think a lot of people who have issues some hoods are not the product but the prep, paint, and install.

+100000000000 for VFN. They actually installed the hood for me.

I'm very happy with the fit and finish. Now I just need to get it painted.

the only difference is the nostril section. on an oem there are grooves around the nostrils and i think they actually come off?

and of course an aftermarket is alot lighter.

im just going by what ive read.

IIRC SLP's hoods are made off of GM hood frames, so they should fit exactly like factory.
