How would you rate my stance? It currently has the Eibach Pro-Kit but I need shocks soon so now would be the time to make changes?

I think it looks good as well; however, the lighting isn't helping with the perspective in that picture as the sun is illuminating the wheel wells so much making look perhaps higher than it really is (especially at the angle the picture was taken).

true. also gotta get the fender liner back in there. the light wouldn't reflect off the black material as well so that would make the gap less noticeable as well.

whatever the case though, good looking car!

Thanks guys! Will get the liner back in. I'd also like to do the 2010 rotors but then I don't think I could ever run drag tires...

Well of course I deleted it, if people were going to bash me about it no point on having it up. And horrid? Considering I get compliments on it all the time, I respectfully disagree. It's how I bought the car anyhow, previous owner made it a show only car. The only thing I sometimes get compliants for is the rims. I rather have something different. But hey, if you're more into the stock body look more, more power to you, I'm just not.

do you. don't feel the need to explain yourself to anyone. at the end of the day, you're the one who's getting in the car and driving it, so do what you like.

everyone's not always gonna like what you do with your car, just gotta roll with the punches and keep doing your thing.

Yeah, you're right. I apologize for the rant, just was frustrating. I respect peoples opinions when they aren't in a form of an insult. That's all. You make a good point though, can't appeal to everyones tastes. Only time I've been bashed about the car was on the forum. Did make me want to change the look of my car for a bit. I know it's a little "riced out", makes me a ricer I guess. But as you said, "do you". Appreciate the maturity and advice.

It's a lot easier for people to give their brutally honest, non-diplomatic opinions when on a forum where anonymity rules. If one truly cares about the opinions of others, then one should decide the demographic they value most (ie: if car people hate it but non-car people like it, then who really understands taste best? Whose opinion matters more?).

Easy one. I would measure taste in function as to what its been applied too. Car taste (or its mods) would be better evaluated from car people not random people in the street or worse, friends. Why? Friends are biased towards saying what you most probable please you not the real truth.

Correct, I understand if you dislike it, I'm starting to dislike it as well thanks to the forum. Haha.

I did like it. But realizing how much people hate my car made my mind change. And appearently everyone is telling me basically to go back to stock, and I dislike the camaro's stock body. I also do agree on the tailights being ugly, i hate them. But idk what would be a good replacement for the car.

It's a shame it's come to this. Just didn't expect to get bashed by the whole community about my car when I've seen worse. I'm only afraid now what people will think of my 79 vette since it's stock appearence wise oh well, guess I have the ugliest f-body on ls1-forum.

It's not THAT bad, you can easily make it way better very simply. I think by going to a mcnord aggressive spoiler(don't think a stock ss ones would fit your body kit well), different tails and remove the side decals and you will have a clean car.

You are already stepping in the right direction with replacing the wheels from what I saw in your other thread.
