You are already stepping in the right direction with replacing the wheels from what I saw in your other thread.
I'll look into that spoiler after this post. And the tailights are getting replaced because they have cracked seals, so they should be gone in a week or two. And the side decals, I'll personally miss them, gave the car a stand out look, but they have to get replaced anyhow so might as well see how it looks without. My fear is since they were sunbaked for so long, you'll still see the outline in the paint. I can't afford a paint job. I need most of my money on my Corvette. The downfall of having 2 sport cars..

I did like it. But realizing how much people hate my car made my mind change. And appearently everyone is telling me basically to go back to stock, and I dislike the camaro's stock body. I also do agree on the tailights being ugly, i hate them. But idk what would be a good replacement for the car.

It's a shame it's come to this. Just didn't expect to get bashed by the whole community about my car when I've seen worse. I'm only afraid now what people will think of my 79 vette since it's stock appearence wise oh well, guess I have the ugliest f-body on ls1-forum.
You dont have to go stock. Go for details. Take the graphics out, check the custom emblems by Emblemspro.com. You have the right stance, go for wheels that enhance the car. There are TONS of example here. Body kits in Camaros tend too look cheesy. The car naturally has a "mildly domestic beast" vibe so subtle does it best.

The Trans AM has a "Im gonna eat your soul" vibe and takes body kits better. Study examples here. Believe me overall, LS1TECH has great taste.

You make a valid point. I'll check out the site, appreciate the tips. But I kinda disagree with the body-kit thing. Just my opinion of course, no disrespect. I think the camaro needs some body enhancment due to lack of body style unlike the firebird. I agree with you on the firebird, (yours for example), they look extremely well with body kits. I originally wanted one, the fact that the body has very stylish lines and to me just needs lowered and it already looks good even without added body panels. But again that's just my opinion.

But I never doubted the ls1tech's availability of good examples. Just thought I would be hated as much. My main fear is if the decals got sunbaked. What do I do then? I know it's the wrong forum to ask this so forgive me.

you could always try to bring it back with a good multi step detail kit (compounds, clay bar, waxes etc) or take it to a good body shop or detailer and have it high speed buffed professionally. just my 2 cents, the decals will come off, heat em up with a hair dryer a little at a time.

I'll try that. Is it expensive to get a high speed buff? I'm just afraid after all that work it will still be there. Then the car looks worse than it did. But thanks for the advice, really appreciate it.

not sure on the cost, my wives father owns a body shop so i get the special treatment most vinyl decals have a 7 year life expectancy, so the bridge will need to be crossed at some point. unless the car just sits outside and bakes, i think it will be ok. how is the rest of the exposed paint?

Lucky, bet you love that discount. I know a guy that owns a detail shop but idk if he could fix this problem. And the thing is the previous owner did have it sit and bake for awhile, reason why they were faded. For how long, idk.

As for the exposed paint, not bad at all, scratches at the front, and some other places. It needs buffed reguardless. Usually I'm charged around 100 bucks for a good detail job. I take my vette to him all the time as well.

First, thanks to crimsonbird for all the help with the questions about stancing wheels. Second, I am heartbroken for you and your car. Not that cars can't be replaced but the hard work you put into it. Here is mine. Suspension: I am 25.5" ground to wheel well front and 25.25" front. 1.2 coil off ls1 springs with upper shock mount mod(jasonww mod), Hose mod and 1.5 coil trimmed in back. Fenders trimmed out to not slice the 315's in back and 3rd gen bumpstops softened and no slp spacer(drilled small holes in to soften up). Was running no bumps but with wheel offset decreased put them back in (may try again without; never had an issue bottoming out before.) Wheels: 17x9.5 zr1 frt. w/ 17x11 rear. Offset is currently 31mm frt. and 35mm back....
