I'd like to see that, I've never seen a pic of a carbon hood actually on one of these.

I kinda like the idea of one for my Formula...and I have this wierd idea that it might look okay unpainted if I add some NBM (to match my car) Blackbird stripes on it.

No pics yet, but I just now put on a Suncoast Predator hood on my car. Got it VERY cheap. It is the 1993 greyish metallic color, while my car is Mystic Teal.

I wouldnt be able to drive my car around with an un painted hood. It would bug me too much!
Too many hondas running around with panels not painted.

^^ Can you take a close up pic of the hood? How's the weave look? Does it look good unpainted?

I actually like the color contrast there. I bet if you did a silver manta, or maybe silver stripes outlined in black, with the black continuing down to the silver nose to form the shape of the stripe, it would really pull it all together. Just a thought.

Yeah, Im htinking that WOULD look kinda cool on my Formula if I did the NBM stripes on the hood to match the paint.

I can't justify the cost of buying a 'glass hood and having it painted ($$ for just an appearance mod), and but I could never buy a glass hood knowing I wasn't going to paint it. Maybe the carbon is the best of both worlds.

I'm eventually gonna paint the hood and leave the manta carbon or the raised side part of it carbon. The weave and finish is pretty good. I bought it because it saved 21# off my car. I'll try to get a better pic for ya tomorrow.
