Default Any 4th Gen owners who have done stainless fuel lines

Alright, I was just hoping to get a little more info on how much fuel line I am going to need to go from the fuel tank to the engine bay on a 93-02 F body. Thank you.

You need to figure out whether or not you'll be using the factory hard feed line. You can keep the stock line routing (with the return back by the fuel filter) and replace the factory "flexible" lines with stainless braided lines, you can run braided line the entire length of the car (only necessary if you are planning on running a -8 feed to the rails), or you can get really fancy and run a fuel pressure regulator up front. Running stainless lines isn't cheap, especially if you use the correct type of line (which will be teflon lined, not synthetic rubber like most).

Lots of reading availble in the Fueling & Injection section. Pick your poison.

I am going to be running stainless from the tank, through the same route as the stock lines take, or along the pinch weld (I have 3 point SFCs that can help protect the lines), to the fender, and then doing a bulkhead fitting up near the brake master cylinder (to reduce underhood clutter.) Then a Y block to the back of both rails, from there both rails crossover into a magnafuel regulator and a -6 an will run all the way back.

Get some kite string and masking tape and run that where you want your lines to go. Pull it off then measure it.

I ran custom braided stainless fuel lines from the tank to the rails/regulator. I used the same quick disconnect fittings that everyone uses to connect to the stock fuel rails to connect to the stock pipes at the tank. There are two different sizes back there. I ran the hoses up the tranny tunnel beside the torque arm. I drilled holes along the tranny tunnel and popped in rivet nuts to secure the dual hose clamps that I got from Summit to secure the hoses along the length. I more or less followed the stock fuel line routing.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd do it the same but with the nylon braided hose. Much easier to work with and to wrap around curves.

i will definitely take that under advisement, I think the nylon might work better in general as well. thanks for the advice.

i purchased a roll of 15ft. although i'll find out if it was enough once i get the motor in the car. It might be a tad too short going to the rail. If that's the case i'll just run a union around where the stock lines disconnected under the plastic jacking point. get 20ft, and call it a day.
