Default 2011 Camaro SS convertible correction

Hey guys, had my first 5th gen Camaro convertible come in recently. After years of waiting for the new camaro and then the convertible, it was awesome to finally check it out in person. Hard to beat 93 million miles of headroom and a rumbling V8. This was sold and owner noticed it had a lot of scratches on it, so they brought it back and had me come out to do some much needed correction on it.

With less than 400 miles on it, I was anticipating it being a bit cleaner upon arrival, but it just wasn't meant to be.... After an ONR wash and claybar it was time for the correction. It got spot correction with M105 LC cyan pad, then the rest of the car got M205 LC tangerine pad. Polishing oils were removed with an IPA wipedown. Sealant choice was Blackfire Wet Diamond. While not a full correction, it came out very nicely and the owner was pleased and drove away with a smile.

Onto the pics..

Some of the heavy scratches the owner wanted corrected..

After correction....

Dam Black looks so freakin good CLEAN! You do a great job!
Off Topic a little. Is it noticable to do this to a pewter car which is in great shape. That pewter color hides so much I just wonder if it was worth it or not.

Damn, it had that many scratches on a brand new car like that? Btw, looked like everyone was interested in the Corvette inside the garage lol.

Damn that looks good. My car could use a detail like that.

I love everything about that car except the antenna and the brake light.

So Jeff did you use a tiny shovel to get the Menz and sealant out of the orange peel dips and craters? Geez I cant believe the quality on that paint!!!! He needs you to do a full wet sand on that thing so you can really show 'em what you can do!!! You of course are the man and this car is no exception. Bravo sir, now tell him to put the scotch bright pad in the trash and use a wash mitt! Haha
