Ok, I should flip the connector that is connected from the bulb to the ballast, or the connector that is connected from the power source to the ballast?

or both?

I guess that makes sense.. sounds like its a polarity issue, if not i guess my bulb is bad?

do they have a positive and negative markings on the side of the ballasts? you could have the wires backwards.

negative, they don't specify.

however, the lil clips clip into place so im assuming they should be plugged in the correct way the first time around. Knowing this might be a polarity issue, I will flip the connectors and see how that works

btw my headlamp fuses aren't blown either

My HIDs were the same way, the clips had a tab indicating which way that had to be plugged in, or course it was wrong so I flipped it and they worked.

The Camaro is wired backwards from the more common orientation. It makes no difference for Halogen bulbs because they will work either way, but HID only works with the polarity in one orientation.

This is a common issue that pops on on LS1Tech often. A search would have answered this.

Try this, plug in the HID ballast wire upside-down into the stock harness socket. If that works, then just swap the pins in the connector so you can properly connect with with the lock tabs.

Yes this fixed my problem, I flipped the power connector and they light up beautifully

I did do a quick google search, but the y-u-no-guy was my last ditch effort and it worked flawlessly so i should start using him more often haha

As mentioned, GM in their wisdom wired them backwards. Why? No idea...

And it isn't just the f-bodies they did this to. My Trailblazer is the same way.
