It can be picked up at Advanced auto for $16. I would have to say its the one of the most durable waxes on the market.
A lot of people like ZEP all purpose cleaner which can be purchased at Home depot or Lowes.
Also for carpet cleaner Folex and Krud cutter are very effective and can be purchased at Home depot and lowes.

I usually get all my stuff from autogeek, but I am one of those people that don't like to order my stuff online all the time. Also I know where to get this stuff in a pinch.

Wow, I've never seen that stuff at the O'Reilys out here... Thats cool though.

Wow this is a great thread! I own a couple of collision repair centers and basically we are at the mercy of the sales people, and the fact we have to use "paint friendly" products. We have been wanting to start a detail center so I am going to try alot of these products to see what suits our needs best.

Thanks, Jamie

What methods and products do you use to clean carpeting and cloth interior not only for easy clenaing jobs but to remove difficult stains and whatnot? Hopefully this hasn't been asked in the last few pages.

Outside of that, the only carpet cleaners I'd recommend are 303 Aerospace Carpet Cleaner which is water based. It cleans quickly, easily, smells good, and is inexpensive ($7 for 32oz). Folex is a good choice as well, though I don't use it, many have found it very useful.

Yes. A professional extractor will get almost anything out. Beyond that 303 and Folex are the next best choice with a little scrubbing will take a lot out too.

Yes, I finished reading all pages I had not read just before he replied. After doing so I felt his carpet cleaning reply wasn't quite as specific as the question I asked, therefore I reiterated the second portion of my original question. Anything else you would like to know?

Did I answer your question? If not I can try to elaborate further.

It depends on what your goals are. If you want to eliminate swirls and scratches, oxidation and the like, then yes without a buffer like the PC, Flex, or a rotary you would be wasting your money trying to use pro products to correct the paint by hand. Now if you just want a good wax or sealant or clean the wheels really well, or the interior, go for it.

GoFast908Z, what are your thoughts / opinions on using a california car duster for light dust removal? Good idea or bad? Especially on darker colored cars.

Thats a beautiful 66! To answer your question, I've had the same issue with single stage paints and the IPA wipedown. What I found works better is doing another Dawn wash. It may take a little longer, but it will still strip the polishing oils that the IPA would strip, and it will remove any dust in the cracks that might be left over from the M105.

For the tires, I love Meguiars Pro Line Degreaser. Has worked great on white walls for me. But if that doesn't do it, there is a product you should be able to get locally. Its made just for white walls. I can't remember what its called, but its got "Bleach" in the title. You can give that a try.
Westleys Tire Cleaner Bleche Wite is the name of the product. It is amazing. Best tire cleaner ever!

Yessir, you did. I just wanted to make sure your answer on page 9 was for difficult stains as well.

I was wondering what i could use on my wifes black G35 to keep it from getting water spot stains? I've clayed and waxed the car with a carnuba wax just recently. It didnt help and it doesnt matter how fast i dry the car or clean it after a rain it stays with spots i cant get off. Bird poo, and bugs also leave stains on the paint. Any suggestions On what i could use to maybe stop this from happening?
