Ask a Professional Detailer
Hard to say without a picture, but sounds like the start of clear coat failure. If thats the case, you'll have to repaint.
Bird droppings and bugs will etch the paint with heat, which acts as a catalyst to activate the acids in them. They have to be polished out if left on too long.
You may want to switch to a good professional sealant like Zaino or Rejex or something similar. However, nothing will prevent spots or etching. You need to be proactive as an owner to prevent these things from happening. Also keep in mind that Infiniti paint is on the soft side so it damages easier than most, which will make your job harder.

Well, its good for a quick wax thats meant to protect the car for a week or two. I wouldn't use it in place of a real wax or sealant.

I also have an area where a truck with a tailhitch backed into my GXP while it was parked at a bar, and I came out and saw it without a note. I filled in the mark with touchup paint but don't know what to do next. My color is a dark metallic, so if I make it hazy, it's going to be more obvious than leaving it alone.
You can see it as 2 marks in this pic

You show up to a customer's place and are to detail a Hummer H2 with swirls that will require atleast M105 to remove and you have to fully detail everything else on the vehicle including the interior. How long would that take you? Would you finish it all in a day?

As for the touchup paint, you could smooth it out, but it will never match the color.
