Default Corvette Fuel Rail Cover Mod Assistance Needed

Did a few searches but came up with nothing. Can someone link me to a blueprint of what cuts are necessary on the corvette fuel rail covers to be able to fit my v8 02 ws6? What cuts and where to make these cuts would be appreciated.

In additional any info on what to use to fill in the corvette lettering would be appreciated!

thanks in advance

al

Lots of threads out there on this topic. There are no blueprints really since everyone's motor is different; some need to cut more than others. If you have all of your emissions equipment you will have more cutting than someone with a bare motor.

Now if you haven't bought them yet, afterthoughts auto sells them pre-cut and they will replace the corvette lettering with camaro or trans am for an additional fee.
They also have before and after photos of the modifications here: http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/ls1...il-covers.html

Do you know what they use to fill in the lettering?

Awesome thanks! Going to have a bodyshop cut them.. then grab some of that fiberglass resin. you mentioned.

One what grit on the sandpaper to smooth out the resin?

Thanks
