Will tinting the windshield reduce/eliminate glare from the dash?

Will tinting the windshield reduce/eliminate glare from the dash?
Fbody owners probably know what I'm talking about...it's a beautiful sunny day and you've got the top/t-tops off. That's all ruined because the sun is reflecting off the dash onto the windshield and you can't see the road well.
The glare is just awful from the sun, even with sunglasses. I don't even use armor all or anything on the dash. Has anyone tinted their windshield lightly and noticed any difference in the glare?
Other ways to reduce that glare? I was thinking a vinyl wrap. But if I do that, I'm going to have to do the whole interior which I do not want to do.

%35 looks as if there is no tint from the outside but on the inside its waaay different, the air temp is totally different because u can control the heat/air easier. my buddy had it on his dodge Cummins and it was amazing. ill be going with %35

Why not give it a shot, then go for tint if they aren't good enough?

Tint on the winshield is illegal, few months ago I wanted to tint the sunroof & windshield on my jeep. The guy said the windshield could crack if it's on the sun for a long time.
I would do it. Give it a try
