I had 20(front) and 5(back) on my old car and it was damn near perfect, I have 35(front) on my new car and I hate it, cant wait to get it redone!

I had 2% on my dodge ram and got a pulled over and got a $400 ticket so I won't go that dark again. With that being said I'm wanting to get my camaro tinted but I think in ga you can't go any lower then 35% on the front drive and passanger doors and the rear hatch can be as dark as you want but I want to still beable to see out of it at night. So I was thinking 15% in the rear 35% on the doors and 50% on the windshied. Does that sound good?

I want to get re tinted too actually. I got mines 5% rear and 35% sides, I still feel naked with 35% sides. I'm getting 20% sides again like my old Camaro, **** looks wayyyyyyyy better; 5% rear and 20% sides in the best imo.

If I were doing mine again today, I would go with 15%-20% on the side windows and 5% on the rear window.

20% sides for a DD, 5% for a toy. Sucks at night but for a toy it's definitely dealable. That's why I have 5% sides/rear.

I think my Sierra has 30% on the sides (previous owner did it..) haven't gotten hassled yet. But with 20% on the camaro got nailed twice and the civic (which was 100% stock and no rice rocket image to attract the police) had 15% up front and got nailed once for it.

I'd say go with 30%

I think I'll just go with 15% all around or 5%. The tinter I'm going to have do it is freakin expensive as hell, but he has great reviews on yelp and all over other car forums. He also does custom clear bras.

anyone got pictures of 5% on the sides? I dont think ive seen that here yet


Also, has anyone had to have their hatch window removed in order to get it tinted?? Some shady *** fool told me it has to be removed in order to tint it properly. Just curious

There was a guy on here that took his hatch off and tinted it he said it was much easier that way but I don't think you absolutely have to take it off

Thanks! That was all before I swapped back my widened chrome SS 10spokes and took off the spoiler and the ground effects following my motor swap. Car did look sinister with the black wheels though
