Default First time Zaino user!

What steps do I need to do first on my black corvette.

I have Z18 (Clay Bar), ZFX, Z2, Z5, Z6, Z7. Ill be doing my rims. So let me know what I need to do.

What I was planning on doing is this. First washing the car off with Dawn, then Claybar with a cap full of Z7 Mixed in a spray bottle. Then wash the car down with Z7, then Start with Z2 mixed with ZFX, then do like 3 layers of Z5, and then whipe off with Z7.

I will be doing my polished rims, I can do this correct?

I Dawned, then got a spray bottle w/ water and put about 4 drops of Z-7 and sprayed and clayed, sprayed and clayed etc...( while the car still wet!!) Once I was done clayin' I rewashed the car w/ Z-7. I dried and used Z1 and put Z2 right on top of it. Let dry and wip of with a 100% cotton cloth. Then grabbed a cold beer sipped and used Z5, grabbed another cold beer while I let it dry and wiped off.

It is also recommended that when you are wiping the dry wax off, use a up and down motion on the sides of the car and front and back on the top. Make sense?

I didn't use ZFX so I can't help you there, sorry.

Hope this helps, you getting the ride ready for AMC 30 tomorrow night are ya?

Let me know how it comes out.

Don't do any swirl motions, or you will have swirls. Good luck. I am a die hard Zaino user myself.

Hey SSG, where are you stationed? I used to be at Spangdalem. I miss Germany... such a nice place. Never had trouble finding something to do.

It is to my understanding that you put about 3 coats of Z5 on first, and then the Z2 for a deeper shine.

Last year I started with Z5, 5 coats, then switched to Z-2 with Z6 in between each coat. This year I picked up some Z1 and started with that, let dry and applied Z2 right over top. Don't under estimate the power of Z1 as a starting point. Really made a difference with me.
