69 Camaro w/ Drop-In Bi-Xenon Projector Headlights
Customer recently completed their installation of our drop-in H6024 7" round headlights and figured I would share a few pics. These are bi-xenon projectors which are plug-n-play with zero permanent modification required to the vehicle for installation. This customer wanted a little bit different shroud and chose the all chrome look. I think it came out great.
Here are pics from the same setup but on a different car.
Cutoff - Needed height adjustment
Low Beam
High Beam

VIP - Thank you - Morimoto Mini D2S 2.0
BOB - thank you for the compliments
Ramairetransam - Those cars use a 4x6 headlight which would be very similar to our 93-97 Firebird bi-xenon setup. The lens design will probably not look right however depending on the room you have, something could be developed.
Dabest - The lights only come on when the doors open

Good call on the correct year for the car lol. Fixed.
We have been offering these lately for $599 plus shipping.
I think the 1.0 version got a bad wrap but we have had good success with the 2.0. We have sold quite a few of these setups and feedback has been excellent.

How do the Morimito Mini-D2S 2.0 compare to the FX-R in your 1993-1997 Firebird setup?
I know the previous 1.0 version of the Morimoto Mini-D2S had dimmer output than the Morimoto Mini-H1 (now up to version 4.1) which has output close to the FX-R.
Do you have some comparison pics? Maybe park the two cars side-by-side?

I would say the FX-R still outperforms the Mini D2S 2.0 significantly , mainly in beam width. Both are sharp at the cutoff but as I mentioned, you get more width and intensity from the FX-R. The FX was an initial choice for this setup but it was simply too big to fit effectively or without heavy modification to the car. For classic vehicle owners, this would be a big issue even for the restomod guys.
I don't have any direct comparison pics. The car shown is located in CA. The light output shots were from a car in NJ however it was recently sold to a new owner.
