Just painted a berger panel I picked up for 12 bucks. I did it right and primed, sanded and laid paint on it, but it looks too plain. Should I put SS and chevy emblem back on it? or silver camaro lettering (silver, not chrome) or should I just leave it the way it is??

i voted for the silver fill ins but i think that plus the bowtie and ss would look good as well.

 

Stainless CAMARO overlay and put the ss emblem back on.

OP...I like the silver letter and SS idea the best. It'll def look finished.

 

I voted for silver inserts. Chrome wouldn't quite match to me, and silver would be a bit more subtle and match. I think it looks good, but if you think its boring I'd go with silver inserts personally.

 

I've never like the black berger panels on the Camaros, always liked the way they come from the factory better.

 

Should've done a gloss finish to match the tails.
Silver/stainless fill ins will look hawt.

Anyone know of a sponsor that sells both the camaro lettering and the ss and chevy emblem? I'm definitely not taking off the stock one :p

Emblempros makes good stuff. I had a set of their rear fill ins on my 96.
Have you considered other options? LS1/LSx emblems, SLP emblem, Hurst emblem, displacement emblem (5.7 or 346), HP rating emblem? Look around here and see what others have done.

 

I don't want to put a HP emblem on since I haven't built it yet and it would look pathetic lol. an LSx or LS1 emblem would look badass I think. Ill have to look around

Get mirrored Emblempros stainless mirrored emblems and the bowtie/SS badge for the right side. It looks boring because your tail lights are tinted/the same color. Factory tail lights would separate/define it more.

You also need exhaust tips to tie the rear look all together. imo

 

I have tips but lighting wasn't good when I took the pic. I'll post more tomorrow after I give her a bath
