Custom door panels. It's been a while since I've been able to work on my project. Recently got custom door panels, T-top storage bags, and seat belt retainers made at a local upholstery shop. Here's some pics.
Very nice interior and top notch seats but that Diamond plate **** looks tacky as all hell.
I know I know its all about personal preference but having expensive interior and then some bulky Diamond plate box in the back seat just does not look right.
Anyways they did a good job on the inserts!

The interior looks great, minus the tool box. Its too bad diamond plate has that texture or I would suggest wrapping the box in black suede. Just make something nice out of MDF and wrap it.
The shop charged $225 per door. This price is average for shops in our area, considering the work my brother had done to his truck by another shop.
I've always liked the brushed aluminum dash/interiors that I've seen done on 1 st generation camaros / firebirds. So I went with the aluminum dash kit. I had no use for a backseat and I didn't really find any rear seat deletes at the time that caught my eye. I had the diamond plate box made to serve the purpose of storage and be different.
I noticed that camera flash made the light grey appear almost white. The shop did a good job in matching the panel in texture and color to the grey micro suede on the seats.
The T-tops bags were made out of the excess material from the door panels. I'm still working with the shop on ideas to safely secure the tops when they are removed. Currently the back space where they are typically stored is taken up by a sub woofer box.

Wtf, is that a toolbox? Crazy. I would suggest removing the cover off of the seat and building a extension to mount a real seatbelt guide on. Everything looks so professional except the strap through the harness hole. And the toolbox. I'd save that for the back of your silverado.
