Broke Out the Porter Cable Last Night...
I originally posted this in the wrong section. Anyway, we've had some horrible rain over the last 6 weeks...on & off...and my paint took a severe beating. So I decided to break out the Porter Cable and some goo.

Lots of road grime with the rain. Drove through a construction zone several times in the last month and collected dust, etc. I suppose it's still a little misleading. The last time I polished the car was sometime before Halloween. And dark colors definitely show more faults.

I'd consider what I did maintenance...not paint correction. The polish and wax alone took me about 2 hours after I washed the car. I apply and remove wax by hand almost every time. I usually use the buffer to polish.

your work shows it. i still have a LOT to learn since i just started getting into serious detailing thanks to GoFast. i wish improvements were as drastic on my silver car as they are on a darker color.

Nice i need to buy one and try to use it on mine before it gets repainted to practice then i will start on my dads truck. If i screw up on mine who cares its gonna get a fresh coat.
