It is fiberglass, and those vents aren't that big. If you don't like them, fill them in.

In all honesty, the WSQ is a bit flamboyant but I wouldnt consider it a riced out hood. It is a little busy for my taste but I would prefer the smoothy over it. I still love my hood...

 

cool looking hood. i like the wsq as well. different tastes and gotta have a beast whip to back it up!

 

I just want a regular WS6 hood with the WSQ heat extracters. That'd be a winner imo.

 

Then buy a WS9...
