How dark depends on your state laws.

Darkest looks the best by far, but it is too dark for night time. 15-20% is what ill probably end up doing next time, ive got 5 now.

I`ve got about 35% on my vert , but having a tiny rear windshield makes the interior get less light so it looks darker ..
35% tint at night is almost like stock for me as it doesnt effect visibility at all , however 15-20% would definately look better , but could have been too dark for me at night as well as creating trouble with the cops .. but overall I`m happy with the 35% .

guy in my area just did 5% all around with 35% on the windshield, way too dark imo. most i would go would be 5% on the hatch and 20% on the doors.

Here in Ohio there is no limit on the back window. The sides legally can't be darker than 50% but that % isn't worth paying the money for. I have 20% on my sides and have never gotten pulled over but I drive with the windows halfway down. If you don't want 20% I would go with 35%.

I went with 5% all the way around and it is perfect for the day time, I get the privacy I wanted. But at night time it's pretty damn hard to see when you're turning onto a dark street. I have hid projectors and it's still hard to see. But I do like how when a car is behind you and their lights don't blind you through the back windshield.

If I get a tint ticket I will probably end up getting 20-25% on the sides and keep the 5% out back.

5% is super dark. I have 15% of my DD, which is white with Black interior, and it looks good IMO.

I am planning on tinting the Trans int he Spring, and thinking of probably 15% again... its a darker colour, but 15% seem to be just right.

The best is 5% rear and 20% sides, my old Camaro had it and loved it. My car now has 5% rear and 35% sides, I still feel naked so I'm changing back to 20% sides in a couple of weeks.

5% sides has to look extreme but I would be down for it. You think too dark like 5% sides will look bad on nbm?

1% all around. I've had it like this for 4 years and I'll never look back. I never have the windows up except when the kid is in the car and its summer. The only time it kinda sucks is if you are backing up, but I just usually roll the windows down.

I have 5% all the way around. Love it during the day but it is very hard to see backing up at night. 20% might be best on the sides and 5% on the back and eyebrow.

I have 35% (when measured it's actually like 27%) on the sides and rear hatch, couldn't be happier with it. Cloudy days you can't see inside the car at all but sunny days you can, I think it's perfect. Any darker than that where you can't see inside the car just doesn't look that good to me.

I had 20% on my cobalt and got tired of the same cop pulling me over so I traded it off. The trans am is getting done with 35% sides 20 rear and I'm not sure on the windshield yet

The darker the better it looks, but it sucks driving at night with it.

I think it depends on what colour your car is too.

White cars (which are my favorite) look retarded with 5%, looks like the windows are painted black... but with 15% or 20% it looks awesome.

IMO, with darker coloured cars (black, dark green, navy blue) and brighter (red, orange, yellow) you can go way darker and it will still look badass.

^ lol i have some pretty dark tint on mine and i never thought my windows look painted at all, the darker it is the better it looks, imo 5% looks the same on a red car as it does on a white car
