Painted My Coils

Now I just have to fill all the engine bay holes and repaint the shock towers, and I think I'll be happy.
Man, why didn't I do all this with the engine out...
I really wish I had done this earlier, because it seriously makes a difference trying to get to the rear spark plug and wires. All of those bolts with points and tips and those plastic clips for the harnesses used to rip up my arms pretty badly. ... Aaaand of course it gave me the opportunity to tie in the intake a bit more

The coils were just cleaned up with Purple Power, washed, then rattle canned with sandable primer, white gloss and an enamel clear gloss. I probably used $20 in supplies with the cleaner, tape and paints. The hardware was probably another $15-$20.

Actually, getting rid of all the bolts with tall heads and spikes as well as getting rid of the plastic clips has really improved the accessibility of the area. I think wiping them down will be easier than before, but yeah... I was asking for trouble painting them white
