Default Black Lexus + Scotch-Brite = bad juju.....

Just a teaser now..... And yes, it had actually been washed with a Scotch-Brite pad.

Now, I have a request....this owner is a friend of a member here.....that member referred her (owner) to me. She made a mistake and wanted to get it fixed right. A lesson learned the hard way, but a lesson learned and she's learning the right way to care for her car now, so be nice guys

.....yes on the clear film too...

How did it come out?.....the full writeup is coming soon!

Thats almost as bad as the guy that brought his car in after he thought he could wet sand lol, well that was way to far gone, even it a few spots he was down to nothing, i asked him why didnt you stop?he just said he thought it would all buff out perfect, dumb people today, thats why when someone suggest wet sanding i always say dont touch it if you dont know what your doing, we just sent him to the body shop down the street, 15 dollar sand paper turned into a 7 grand paint job lol

Should not be that bad. IF there is enough clear then it will even out. Depends on how crazy you want to get like Wetsand and wool buff off, or take it even to smaller steps.

It's the deep scratches that screw you, anything you can catch with a fingernail is useually time to consider repaint if you cant spot fill them like a chip or a small scratch.

judging from your past pics i bet it turns out great. we had a lady back in 05 bring in her brand new southern comfort avalanche into our body shop cause she used a brilo pad to remove ranch dressing from the side of it. how ranch got on the side she never explained but luckly it sanded and buffed and we didnt have to respray the two tone fade paint job on it.
