Clean your headlights then do the Whistler mod.

Hopefully not the version that uses H3 bulbs which isn't good enough for a headlight.

Also hopefully not the version with the crooked projectors.

Just don't buy ebay headlights with halos. I used them for years and had to upgrade my fogs and add driving lights to see at night well (8 total lights on the front of the car). Just get HIDs in a projector either buy them from BLS or build your own. You'll be a lot better off.

Dont get anything that isnt a depot headlight, the fitment and performance of any halo's are crappy (owner of two sets) I will be buying them from 6le next time or getting a pair of stocks from a yard and cleaning them and whistlering them myself. The aftermarket mounting components make getting any aftermarket headlights to even fit quite a task let alone aligning them correctly.

+1 for BLS

Sonars from ebay aren't too bad but the BLS stuff is soooo much better. Costs more, yes, but you do get what you pay for in this case!

My sig pic is out of date, it doesn't look like that anymore since I got my new headlights.

Bls makes the best, depo headlights are very nice, but cleaning your stockers w/whistler mod will be your cheapest option, the ebay halos are total junk

Wetsand with 600 grit > 1000 grit > 2000 grit, then polish your headlights to remove the wetsanding scratches. If you don't have this stuff laying around, an even better option would be to go to your local Auto parts store, and buy the Sylvania headlight restore kit. It comes with all the sandpaper, a polishing compound, surface activator, all cloths needed, tape to mask off the area, and (the best part) a small bottle of clear coat. The clear will finish off your work, and ensure they stay looking new. This is where most people can't get their headlights clear again, because they didn't clear coat them.

Here are my headlights after just wetsanding and polish. I had to do the process 3-4 times because I just couldn't get them right.

After, all I did was use the Sylvania clear coat. You can see the difference around the plastic stubs, where I missed some clear.

As far as your lighting system, Sonar headlights are a decent ebay choice. The best drop in kit would be BLS. If you don't mind doing the work yourself, do a projector retrofit while you have the housings open to do the whistler mod. I have Morimoto H1 Mini projectors from The Retrofit Source. Check out the lighting faq to see other's setups. https://ls1tech.com/forums/7014483-post4.html

Here's my setup. Morimoto Mini H1's, Retrofit Source HID kit. Don't bother with ebay HID kits.

Mothers makes a decent kit that comes with the different grit pads and a polishing ball you can use with a drill. Just set aside 3-4 hours to sit down and go at them. You may have to repeat the process a few times over.

They will look worse when you start sanding; this is normal. Keep going and they will be clear when you are done polishing.
