Tape residue on window
Tape residue on window I've had a temporary sticker in my back hatch window on the T/A for about 2 weeks...anyhow, I got my plates today, and low n behold when I pull the temp sticker off the tape (duct) left a residue. What's a good way to get the residue off? The window is tinted so I don't want to use anything that will destory the tint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
If its on a tinted surface you're better off using something other than a razor blade unless you're REALLY careful. Try not to use anything really harsh either, or it may mess up the tint.
I say try your best to use some kind of glass cleaner, let it soak into the residue a bit then if you're REALLY REALLY careful use the blade. When we had to remove stickers off the tinted window cars, a lot of time it would come off just by scrubbing it after lettin the solution soak in a bit.

I have ALWAYS used fingernail polish remover to remover sticker/tape film... not mine of course.
I have never used it on tint though... I'd suggest just being patient and using some elbow grease and a wet rag.... I wouldnt risk messing up the tint.

DONT use a razor, hell windex or Stoners glass cleaner will work.
Plastic razor would work, but good luck finding them (and if you do let me know where at)
