I like it a lot - perhaps add the round, more subtle ram air openings like the earlier Firehawks...

I like it! I like the fact that it resembles a vette a bit. I think if you were to flatten it out just a bit and give it enough room on the underside for an intake elbow it would be a great seller. A lot of guys that are converting to LSX's would love the extra space. Lets see it on a T/A car also!

I like it. I hate the LT1 birds front end but this is a very nice hood.

The new hood Has to have a center line (even if only at the front, and then fades away) or else it won't flow right with the bumper. That looks odd the way that center line just terminates at the hood

I like it a lot. It's subtle, but yet has that muscle car look.

I like it, but I couldn't see me giving up my factory hood for one.

I think that's sick. I have never been a fan of the lt1 body style but that makes a huge difference imo. I also like the idea of it being a little taller. Maybe do it like the sunoco's a small and big version. Interested in the "ram air" rendition you spoke of

^not much of a fan. that hood should be left as is!

But, what would be interesting to see, would be the one McNord posted before with the smoothed center, but add the center line like the sunoco, so that it'll flow with the bumper. But not as prominent of a line as the sunoco, more of a faint one like the one on the stock firebird hoods.

Agreed! The Ram air would add an ultra z effect, we'll stick with cowl

I think were going to move on this , we'll probably start adding photos next week, well add that faint subtle line to meet the nose, and a few other little tweaks, were glad that everyone is digging this idea, It will be a cool hood

Looks good, I like the smooth transition unlike the lt1 ws6 hood which looks like someone just slapped some scoops on an as afterthought since it doesn't have any kind of flow with the bumper at all.

I don't think the ram air is to bad. I think it flows with the center line. But then again I don't have a lt1 car so im just a voice from the peanut gallery haha. But I do like the design and idea so far. I think it will be a hit and do well for you guys.

Not bad, the lines of the factory lt1 hood are wider. I was suggesting raising the factory lines a little bit but keep the factory vents. Imo the 4" version you offer is to big. I guess what I'm thinking about won't look good in the end, lol. You can see in the pic what I'm talking about, but my idea is kind of way off of what you guys are thinking of offering.
