Thats a good question. I would guess 35 watt kit shouldnt hurt anything, but Im not an expert.

Putting HID lights in non-projector housings produces an annoying glare for oncoming traffic. The point of a projector housing is to tame the powerful light. It 'cuts off' the light output at desirable level....you still have bright light on the road, but not pointed at someones eyes. I recommend running the LMC housings as intended, or having a proper projector/HID setup.

I have HIDs in mine. No problems. I have highs and lows. Great quality headlights too. Much better than the sealed beams. You even get bulbs when you order from LCM haha.

I got these also but after my excitement was over and I reviewed my install, I noticed I installed mine upside down... I don't think it matters since I see them and they don't seem to look different from the top or bottom reflection. Can you take a pic of how yours light up the road so I can compare them to mine?

Any pics by chance?

I like how the housing is simple to put in, and looks 100x better then stock.

So let me get this straight.....a HID kit will plug right into the LMC headlight kit?

I'll run hids, cause I want to see. And they all plug right in. I adjusted mine and now they're perfect. I still want more light though, so when the hids come they will be going in. Can't be worse for on clmjng traffic than my lifted truck with hids...

So let me clarify this...

Buy the LMC headlights, and a 9006 HID kit, and your set right?

Definitely my next thing to do!

If your headlights are upside-down, the light output isn't helpful to you and you are blinding other drivers. Flip them around (you'll see better and you won't blind other drivers).
