all personal preference..
personally, i enjoy the privacy, the looks, and the benefits of cutting down the suns heat, and glare. it is a constant risk for tickets, but i can live with that

I tint mine for privacy, not for looks.
I've put a sunshield thing in the windshield, rolled my windows up and have had 100% privacy when needed. I use 2 layers of 2.5%. I've had friends write stuff on my window and not realize I'm in the car.

Always tint when you can! Maine is actually pretty good about tint, 30% on the front 2 windows and anything on the rear of the car. I always do 20% all around. It is perfect.

i say tint, ive seen hundreds of cars over the years, that have dramaticly changed for the better with tint. some people dont like tint, but i say it makes almost any car look better, assuming its done right, and imo dark. i went 20% all around my Z, same on my old f-body and my truck. night and day difference in looks. and, its only"semi-permanent", couple years later u dont like, its reversible.
